double exposure pics for my reflection book. the landscapes were shot by me using an iPhone 14 Pro. i almost got run over trying to photograph that street. images of me by Luca Mattheis.
an images series i created for my reflection book. i tried to visualize a story of separation and reunion using noodles and sieved tomatoes. i chose noodles and sieved tomatoes because they were pretty much the only food i could afford when i first moved out and have come to symbolize safety and comfort to me. or something like that.
these pictures are the last ones i shot for my reflection book. i didn't have a tripod for these pictures. i just attempted to keep my hands as steady as possible for the first two shots, with some success. the third shot was created during the day with my camera perched atop a stack of books. the models are Joel-Niaz Miwtoo (left, center) and Josef Maximillian Baier (right)
this short clip was created by me for my (now former) employer's website's about page. with the help of two colleagues who handled the recording of the original footage, i turned a simple shot of me turning around into a quick and cheesy little sequence. this was my first time creating vfx in After Effects.
as part of our poetry video assignment, we were instructed to separately submit a mixdown of our video's audio tracks. since i focused on our movie's making of, i was told to create an audio mixdown without accompanying video. this gave me additional creative freedom, which i used to attempt to imply that the therapist's voice is coming form a camcorder. unfortunately, the final mix ended up being more on the quiet side volume-wise, so if you can't hear anything, you may need to turn up your volume. the narrator is played by Moiez Rathor.
